Several other officials from both organisations who were involved in the project were also present at the agreement signing.
SLT will be powering the entire suite of apartments with the company’s fibre-to-the-home infrastructure that will provide residents with ultra-fast internet connectivity with download speeds of up to 100 Mbps, crystal clear voice communications as well as access to high definition (HD) TV content via PEO TV. In a communication issued by the contractor, L H Piyasena and Co. (Pvt.) Ltd has intimated that construction of The Mount, a 35-apartment development in MountLavinia, is progressing ahead of schedule and expressed confidence it is on stream to meet deadline for completion in December 2019.
